Bridget Malcolm Shares Her Diet and Workout Routines As She Prepares For the Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2015

Bridget Malcolm shares her diet and workout secrets as she prepares for the 2015 Victoria's Secret show.

Aussie model Bridget Malcolm made it to the Victoria's Secret line up. Hence, she will join fellow Aussie and Victoria's Secret model Shanina Shaik on the catwalk this December. "For me it was a matter of getting into shape both physically and mentally," Malcolm said on Sunrise, according to News.com.au

Throughout the year, Malcolm strictly follows vegan diet. But by the time she found out that she made it to the casting, she was only given three months to prepare before the runway show, she decided to follow a weight loss regime, which she described "easily and painlessly."

"I cut out all sugars, refined carbs, alcohol and nuts, and began having protein shakes and vegetables with oil," the model revealed to Vogue.

She also revealed since she started practicing her new diet regime, that she also does daily exercise. She said that even if she's out of the country, she always calls her Ballet Beautiful trainer through Skype to do some routine. When it comes to cardio, she loves boxing and running. But "Beach runs are my all time favorite though - soft on your joints, great workout, and if you overheat you can just jump in the water."

Bridget admitted that despite the fact that she has already done catwalk numerous times, she still gets nervous about it. So, to ease her mind, she always meditate daily and visualize everything. Every day she "visualize walking into the casting and having a good time - so by the time the casting came around I wasn't too scared," she explained.

She also said that one month before the casting, she steps up her workouts routine to twice a day. This would entail doing an hour of Ballet Beautiful in the morning and an hour of boxing in the afternoon.

Bridget Malcolm will walk alongside Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner on the Victoria's Secret runway.
