The world number three tennis player, Andy Murray admitted that his wife of five months Kim Sears hates media attention but praised her for the sacrifices she made for his career.
During an interview with New York Times, Murray revealed some interesting facts about his wife.
Sears, who was caught shouting during the semi- final of the Australian Open earlier this year "[expletive] have that you Czech [expletive] [expletive]" actually doesn't like media attention, she hates comments and being in the tabloids.
Murray explained, "I know she doesn't like that and doesn't want that. We've never asked for that. It's not something that she courts."
"She doesn't like being in the newspapers, and people commenting on what she's wearing and how she looks, and those sorts of things.
"That's one of the things that I guess she's also sacrificed, a little bit, for our relationship, and I appreciate that a lot. But hopefully there's only a few more years left of it, and then we can get away from all of that stuff."
Despite trying to avoid public attention, Sears has been a supporter to her husband and became known for her fiery behavior when watching Murray in the court.
During the final game, where Murray played against Novak Djokovic and her husband lost, she wore a shirt with 'parental advisory - explicit content' logo.
Murray offered an apology for his wife's behalf.
He said, "You want so much for the person you're supporting to win, but then there's a bunch of other people around, and it's uncomfortable...
"Things are said and people behave in ways that they don't mean to when there's emotions involved."
Murray and Sears got married in April this year in his hometown of Dunblane, after dating for almost nine years. The happy couple is now expecting their first baby, which is due in February, according to the Telegraph.
