Model and actress, Amy Purdy, who is a Paralympic medalist and one of the "Dancing With The Stars"finalists, is now a married woman. Amy Purdy and Daniel Gale, tied the knot on Saturday, August 29, held in Boise, Idaho, after more than 13 years of being together, according to reports.
"We felt it was just finally time to come together and make a commitment to each other," the world-class snowboarder said in her statement.
After their wedding day, the happy wife posted a wedding photo of her and her new husband on Instagram, where did not miss out thanking everyone who joined them in their big day.
"Well friends! We did it!!! What an unbelievably magical night! By far the best of our lives! We were fortunate to have the most special people of our lives all come together to celebrate!" she wrote.
The longtime couple, who also participated in 2012's "Amazing Race", were hitched in front of about 160 guests. Their engagement was announced in mid-May following Gale's sweet proposal, which took place in the romantic place of Puerto Rico.
On her Instagram page, Purdy shared the good news to her fans right after the Gale's proposal. In the photo, she and Gale was all smiles while she was flaunting her temporary ring.
She wrote "He asked and I said yes! The moment was perfect even though the ring is still being made! Until it's done I have a sweet, from the heart, one that he hand made on the beach tofay.#engaged #love #flamencobeach"

The 35-year old actress went through a consecutive life-threatening condition because of her Meningococcal Meningitis. However, amidst being ill, she was still able to obtain a bronze medal during the 2014 Paralympic Games.
Adding to her success, Purdy appeared on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ last year and finished as the first runner-up with her dance floor partner, Derek Hough.
Amy Purdy was also announced earlier this month as one of the judges for Miss America 2015.
