Last Thursday marked the end of a very successful E3 convention which surpassed the previous years in terms of attendance and products showcased. The event was full of surprises which made it entertaining and exciting.

The expo attracted more than 52,200 visitors this year, which includes developers, journalists, analysts, and enthusiasts from 109 countries around the world. Even Kanye West was present in the event. The amount of visitors have increased from last year's 48,900 visitors from 100 countries.

The ESA announced that E3 2015 exceeded the social media records with more than 6.3 million posts on Twitter and 7.5 million likes for E3-related posts on Instagram. Also on Twitch, over 500,000 people watched the E3 press conference and more than 1 million videos were published on YouTube.

Michael D. Gallagher, ESA CEO and President, said that this year's E3 was all about the gamers unlike the previous ones. He explained that E3 demonstrated remarkable transformation of entertainment on all video game platforms, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, hardware, mobile and handheld, and awesome games.

"As a driving force for technological and entertainment trends across the globe, the video game industry clearly demonstrated how it is revolutionizing the way people consume, engage and interact with media," he added.

The ESA also announced that next year's event, E3 2016, would be more entertaining with improved and advanced technology. The event is scheduled for June 14 through June 16 of 2016, and will still be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The E3 2015 event showcased amazing games, such Fallout 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Dishonored 2, Star Wars: Battlefront, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Mass Effect: Andromeda, No Man's Sky, and Super Mario Maker. These games will be released soon to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and even the Wii U.

Even though the event must be  a paradise for dedicated gamers, it is also the biggest teaser. The great special effects of the videos made everyone want to play it immediately, but these games are still not playable until next year.
