E3 has unfortunately announced that there are promising games that will not be showcased at the event from June 16 to 18. Although in slight disappointment, the creators of these games have openly acknowledged that they will not be appearing.
The biggest disappointment in in terms of no-shows is The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U. Everything fell apart for the game when series producer Eiji Aonuma announced that its absence is caused by the delays in production. While fans are still hopeful, Nintendo has clearly stated the opposite.
Another game that won't be appearing is Titanfall 2. According to the founder of Respawn Vince Zampella, they won't be showing anything in this year's event. He also said that the studio is working on its next project.
Despite Final Fantasy XV's positive results from their demo earlier this year, the game will be skipping the convention. The game's director Hajime Tabata recently announced that more details about the game will be revealed during Gamescom.
Although there are good games that will not be showcased, there are also others that have been confirmed to be present at the annual event. There are five games that come above the others, which are Uncharted 4, Fallout 4, Deus Ex, Halo 5, and lastly Star Wars Battlefront.
The Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is an epic game which is considered as the jewel in the crown of Sony's exclusives, with the hero Nathan Drake currently adorning the front of the LA Convention Center. This has made many gamers excited but the release of the game has been delayed to 2016.
Fallout 4 will be presented earlier in the event, premiering at Bethesda's first ever E3 presser. This game is the follow-up to the Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, as the next big open-world game. The game is situated in 1950's American tinged post-apocalyptic wasteland, where humanity has gotten nasty and weird as it can possibly be.
