Anorexic Woman Saved By A Stranger Through A Simple Note!

An anorexic woman, who weighed less than six stones was helped by a stranger through a simple note.

20 year old Anna Wyatt from Norwich said she was suffering from anorexia before. She said she tried to overcome her eating disorder and even went to the National Health Service (NHS) to get help, but her body was not responding to the treatment. Until one day she received a note from a stranger that fully changed her lifestyle and now she is on the road to recovery.

Wyatt said she developed the condition while studying at the University of Exeter and her weight just plummeted, but insisted she couldn't remember anything what caused her loss of appetite. Anna said her condition was worsening that it even forced her to postpone her second year at the university to focus on her recovery. She said she received a cognitive behavioural therapy and cognitive analytic therapy treatment from Norfolk Community Eating Disorder Services, but the procedures weren't working for her.

She said the treatments offered at the medical institute were all about changing individuals' mindsets but it's not working on her and her weight just kept on dropping, until one day she received a note from a stranger that completely changed her life.

As she recalled, she was at a grocery store when a woman shopper gave her a handwritten note, with a link to a website. When she opened the site, she found out that it was Ella Crouch's blog, a woman who was treated from anorexia by personal trainer Leon Bustin.

She said after she saw the blog, all she can think of is "this is the way to go." Wyatt said she then contacted Bustin for a consultation and was advised that she needed to put on some weight and then her "mindset could change." Anna said she is now on18 months of her recovery through physical activities and gradually changing her eating habits.

Wyatt is now healthier than ever and currently helping a charity to raise money for Machu Picchu in Peru.
