Earlier "Suicide Squad" rumors have said that Will Smith's Deadshot could die in the film. That possibility could no longer be possible if new rumors are to be believed that Deadshot could appear in Ben Affleck's "Batman" movie.
DC comics has big plans for its on-screen universe. Next year, they have already slated two movies and a third is already filming. It looks like Warner Brothers plans on creating several more future films for each one of its Justice League characters following the team up movie.
One of the expected films in future DC screen universe creations is Ben Affleck's solo Batman film. However, it appears it won't be as solo as everyone thought since master sniper Deadshot could appear in the "Batman" solo film. As noted by Cinema Blend, Will Smith is very much involved in his character that he has signed a multi-movie deal for the role.
According to Latino Review, the Deadshot inclusion won't be a cameo since the film will highlight the sniper and The Bat's team-up. However, the team up of the two heroes is being compared to "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," which means the two could be working together out of necessity.
This reveals a new film strategy by DC, showing that there won't really be a standalone movie in their universe unlike Marvel, which slowly built each character up with standalone movies then creating team up films.
Next year in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," Wonder Woman is joining the two superheroes, and in the "Wonder Woman" "solo" film, rumors claim Batman will be making a cameo.
The new approach by DC is certainly unique, and probably better since Marvel has originally done it. In addition, it could work to make the "DC world feel more connected much faster than it did with Marvel," according to Cinema Blend.
Meanwhile, fans can catch Deadshot when he appears in "Suicide Squad" on August 2016, while Batman will be more available soon in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" on March 2016.
