Norman Reedus, who is best known for his TV role Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead was reportedly bitten on the chest by a female fan.
On Sunday, during the Walker Stalker Convention in New Jersey, Reedus, 46 year old along with his co-star Michael Rooker were doing the photograph and autograph signing with their fans when one excited, female fan suddenly chomped on his chest.
According to the reports, the incident occurred around 2:50pm. The overzealous fan reportedly approached Reedus and revealed to him that she likes to pretend that he is her husband. But after a few seconds, everyone was shocked after one of the security team reportedly grabbed the woman and said, "um ma'am, you just bit Mr. Reedus." The woman was reportedly escorted out from the building.
Norman is said to be unharmed from the attack and declined to press charges against his offender since it's only a nibble, TMZ reported. He even manage to continue with the meet and greet.
But the female attacker will suffer all of the consequences as she has been banned from Walker Stalker conventions and any other events where Reedus is present.
The woman took to social media to apologize for her behavior and tried to explain what she was thinking at that moment when she launched the attack. "Finally met the love of my life, and get banned from the rest of the CON and lose two more $100 photo ops with him because I lost my mind... got so excited standing beside him... and just turned my head and bit him!" Reedus' biter explained on Instagram. "I don't know what came over me. It wasn't my intention to hurt him. I'm sorry, Norman!"
Norman responded to Twitter by sharing an old image of himself wearing a T-shirt that reads "Bite me." Then he posted an upgraded graphic with phrase "DO NOT," as per Daily Mail.
