Ellie Goulding plans on writing and recording with Niall Horan once the band takes their break.
The 1 Direction band announced that they will be taking a break starting March to open a new window of opportunity and to discover more from themselves deeper, by that, they are probably going to do solos or collaborate with other artists.
Meanwhile, the "love me like you do" hit-maker, Ellie Goulding, grabs the opportunity to write with Niall Horan. She said in an interview that she thinks Niall is a really cool guy and an awesome guitarist. "He's funny and cheeky" she added. Ellie mentioned that they have been friends for a few years now and she's surely on the go of writing with him.
The 28-year-old artist also admitted that she and Niall have dated but only for a short time, so it will be easy for them to get along to write.
Ellie Goulding thinks that the band is pretty awesome. They have released successful tracks which are undeniably good. Ellie told the boys, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan that she thinks that they are all individually great and thinks that they all have what it takes to be a successful solo artist. They have all the time they need and they can all sing, without a doubt, whatever they release as a solo artist will be a huge success, she added.
Although, Niall Horan seems to be clueless about the collaboration with Ellie, he said that there are no solo projects lined up and that he doesn't think anyone is hiding a secret agenda.
Niall Horan told Britain's Metro that he's planning to travel, visit his friends and family and play a little bit of golf during their break. He mentioned that he's not planning on writing about anything for while but if there's a song for their next One Direction album, he'll pass it on.
