Miley Cyrus Should Stick To Twerking and Back Off From The B.C. Wolf Cull Program, says Christy Clark

Christy Clark of British Columbia recently said that Miley Cyrus should stick to her infamous twerking instead of interfering with the wolf cull movement.

Clark said "if the province needs any advice on twerking - or dancing provocatively - it may contact Cyrus, but for now, she should back off from the ongoing program to protect the endangered caribou. Because she don't know anything about the province's environmental policies."

The whole conflict started after Cyrus posted to Instagram early this week, urging her 28 million followers to sign a petition, which was launched by the Pacific Wild group. The goal of the group is to gain 200, 000 signatures so they can save the lives of the wolves, which Miley quickly supported.

The group, including Cyrus, condemned British Columbia's wolf culling program. While BC finds cull as the major solution to save the endangered species, many activists believe that the theory doesn't have enough facts to support the claim that wolves are the cause of the caribou's extinction.

The government is planning to hunt 184 wolves in the South Selkirk and South Peace. Between Jan and April this year, around 84 wolves were already killed by British Columbia. The first year of the five year plan to hunt wolves, who were shot from the air.

After Miley urged her followers to sign the petition against BC's program, which she acknowledged as a "tax-payer funded kill program." Pacific Wild group was flooded with calls and queries. The group received an overwhelming traffic to their site.

According to CBC News, four of seven mountain caribou herds are on the verge of elimination in the Norther Mountains. There are also 70 animals living among them. Officials believe that the preying of wolves on caribou is the main reason for the hampering recovery of the endangered species.
