Demi Lovato admitted she is now proud of her new sexy physique.
The 'Cool For the Summer' singer, who admitted previously that she was bullied for being fat says she has finally overcome her issues and wants to serve as an inspiration for the others.
"Now I have worked on myself and I look hot, so I am going to work it," the 23 year old singer told BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge. She also told the station that she wants to show to the world that "from having an eating disorder and hating your body," people like her can actually pose for a magazine that advertises women lingerie. She was able to make it possible and she wants to encourage other women to do the same.
The 'Give Your Heart A Break' songstress also opened up about her upcoming album 'Confident,' which will be out on October 16. She revealed that some of the tracks are inspired by her personal experience.
She admitted that there are very "emotional songs" in her new album, but she said that she is tired of the past and wants to move on with the new chapter of her life. She further added, that the album "is not just about what I've been through, it's more soulful and sexier."
"It's a little too late to turn back from sharing and pouring my heart out to the whole world," she said.
It was 2010, when Lovato decided to check herself into rehab, after years of suffering bulimia. She spent three months in the facility center. With her commitment to healthy eating, exercise and determination to help herself, the 'Neon Lights' artist managed to live her life smoothly.
She also previously confessed to Fitness Magazine that her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, played a major role in her recovery. Lovato said that he has always been there to support her and "calling her out on it."
