Tinder introduces the "Super Like" button for users to let the other person know they're extra special.
Fortune reports that on Wednesday, the dating app just added a new feature - an easier way to say not just "I like you" but "I super like you". By tapping the blue star icon or just swiping up, your Tinder crush would be immediately notified "that they stand out from everyone else," according to the company blog.
A blue footer will show up on the other person's profile when they get a "super like". If the attraction is mutual and he or she hits back, the potential Tinderella and Prince Charming can then start a nice private chat, as usual.
To make "Super Like" extra special, the company warns the new feature can only be used once - literally just for "the one" for your day.
"We wanted Super Likes to be really special while making sure everyone can use them, so to start we're giving Tinder users one Super Like to send each day," the company blog reads. "You can't bank Super Likes, so use your daily Super Like, and use it wisely!"
Since Tinder wanted the "Super Like" button to be visible, the new button replaced the "Passport" button - which is now located at the Settings option when Discovery Preferences is selected.
Currently, Tinder has a total of 50 million active users with thousands of successful coupling.
According to Marie Claire, Leonardo DiCaprio has even joined the app using his pseudonym Leonard. A source dished out to Star Magazine that the "Wolf Of Wall Street" actor is 'obsessed with swiping on girls and seeing who's out there. He said there's actually a lot of other celebs who use Tinder just for fun!'
Other celebrities that are verified on Tinder include Hillary Duff and Ed Sheeran.
