Allen's Lollies Bringing Back Jelly Tots After A Successful Facebook Campaign

Australia's largest confectionery company will be reviving their famous, sweet treat after a successful Facebook campaign.

Allen's lollies decided to reintroduce Jelly Tots and Tangy Tots on the shelves, which was discontinued in 2014.

The treat revival was encouraged by a Bring BACK Allens Jelly Tots - Tiny Tots Facebook Page.

The post reads, "I just heard back from Allen's they said that they do listen to their fans and our posts will be forwarded onto their team. It's progress, I won't give up till these gems of goodness are back on our supermarket shelves!"

Although the Facebook Administrator just managed to garner 330 fans, it still grabbed the manufacturer's attention.

In a statement released by the company to news.com.au, the manufacturer said, it was "by popular demand" that's why the lollies are coming back to the shelves.

However, the company will have to make some changes with the lollies.

In a move by Nestle, Allen's parent company, the revive lollies will be created with no artificial colours and portion advice will be included to "help Australians better manage their energy intake and understand the ingredients in their food."

The bid to help comes after the company got slammed earlier this year for downsize of iconic Killer Python.

Earlier this month, the company also announced the cutting of their vintage products, Spearmint Leaves and Green Frogs, due to poor sales.

Although Allen's Jelly Tots and Tangy Tots won't be created just like before, fans are still excited for the lollies return.

The post reads, "We did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Although they may not be exactly like the old ones, we did it!! I want to thank all the Jelly Tots lovers out there for making this happen! YOU ALL ROCK!! And a big THANK YOU to Allen's Lollies."
