D23 Expo: Disney Reveals 'Star Wars Battlefront', 'Kingdom Hearts', 'Disney Infinity 3.0' Details

Disney has revealed new details about its upcoming games 'Star Wars Battlefront', 'Kingdom Hearts' and 'Disney Infinity 3.0'. Besides the three highly anticipated games, the entertainment company also unveiled many more titles during the D23 Expo.

Two partnering companies Square Enix and Disney Interactive revealed that the Award-winning film Big Hero 6 characters will be coming out in the narrative of the game Kingdom Hearts III.

In the new instalment of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, the characters will be in the urban setting of San Francisco to continue the events shown in the animated film of the robot Baymax. Shinji Hashimoto, the producer of the coming role playing game confirmed that it will be inspired by the aforementioned movie.

The action game will be experienced by the players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 after it is released.

Disney Infinity 3.0, on the other hand, will be featuring new play set and figures. Characters from the animated films Zootopia and The Good Dinosaur are among the new additions of the upcoming game. Besides the new characters, Peter Pan will also be released as a new figure next year.

The new and improved Play Set of Disney Infinity 3.0 called Marvel Battlegrounds will be experienced by gamers in spring next year. The company confirmed that the item called 'Ultimate unlock' that will enable players to unlock everything in the game will be the Keyblade, the weapon from the Kingdom Hearts franchise

Disney also unveiled new characters of 'Star Wars Battlefront' which dominated during the convention. Characters from the Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set and Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, and Obi-Wan Kenobi will be included in the game.

Like the Kingdom Hearts III, the multiplayer-centric first-person shooter game will be coming to gaming consoles - Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on the 17th of November.
