Disney-Pixar's Upcoming Movies - Finding Dory and Toy Story 4

The slate of animated features coming from Disney and Pixar was unveiled on Friday at Disney's fan-centric D23 fest by the American animator, film director, screenwriter, producer and the chief creative officer of Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and DisneyToon Studios , John Lasseter.

Filmmakers and stars parade for nearly three hours at D23 fest and presented concept art, test animation, finished clips, and live music from eight different works, that include the newest princess film, Moana and the most anticipated sequels Finding Dory and Toy Story 4.

John Lasseter said that the main cast of characters Toy Story 4 led by Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear. Composer Randy Newman will also return. Who could forget  the "You've Got a Friend in Me" montage that made classic Toy Story moments. Lasseter also said that the Toy Story 4 would be "something we've never done in the Toy Story world, a love story."

John Lasseter stated, "At Pixar, the one question that we keep getting asked most often is 'will we do a sequel to Finding Nemo?' And there was one person in particular who'd do most of the asking..." "Cue a montage of Ellen DeGeneres, who memorably voiced the absent-minded Dory, repeatedly complaining about the hitherto nonexistent Nemo sequel on her former talk show." "OK, OK, OK." "We're in production on Finding Dory!"

Director Andrew Stanton stated, "the story was a closed circuit, all issues resolved." "I realized one issue remained unaddressed: Dory's family. Where are they?... Would she be able to find her way home?"

The story of Finding Dory will pick up about six months after the events of Nemo, where Dory, Marlin, and Nemo will cross the ocean to Monterey, California to track down Dory's mom. Jenny (Dory's mom) will be voiced by Diane Keaton), and her dad, Charlie (Eugene Levy).
