Looks like Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence are up for the same category at the Golden Globes in January 2016. Lawrence however wants to humor the audience and wants to wear the same gown as Schumer and be fashionably chic as twinsies!
In an interview, Jennifer Lawrence wants to wear the exact same thing Amy Schumer is wearing.
That's my mission, I really want us to wear the same thing.
There may be a roadblock but Lawrence hopes to remedy the situation. The Joy actress has been the face and fashion icon for Dior for many years and she is certain she will wear a gown made by Dior for the Golden Globes. She's hoping Trainwreck's Amy Schumer will wear something from the same fashion house. She dishes an an imaginary elbow statement, saying "I'm just going to have to have Dior make two of whatever they're making for me."
Not sure what Dior has to say about that but Lawrence is quite excited of the idea. Lawrence poking fun at the whole shebang being both actresses nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy.
The two have dressed alike before but not at the same event. Both friends may be competing against each other for the Golden Globe trophy but reports indicated that they're planning something for the event.
What does Schumer have to say about that?
As soon as I saw that we were both nominated, I took her right out of my phone because our friendship is obviously over.
Schumer joked, "It's really every woman for herself at this point, and I don't want her to kind of get in my head, you know?"
While the two actresses take a joking jab at each other, the Golden Globes still holds the final verdict. The awards show is scheduled to air live on January 10, 2016 on NBC, as announced online.
