One of this year's trends we kind of love is pickle-flavored everything. We saw the chamoy pickle trend, pickled Dr. Pepper, pickle-flavored ketchup, ranch, chips and a ton more pickled products hit the market in response to netizens demanding more sour. Now, the brined essence of cuke and dill has attached itself to one of our favorite feel-good crunchies. Pickles have taken over our beloved Goldfish crackers for Goldfish Spicy Dill Pickle, and we couldn't be happier.

Goldfish maker Campbell's has taken "the snack that smiles back" and fused its crunchy goodness to some dill delish for a limited time this summer, plus added a smidgen of heat just for good measure. The idea was sourced by seeing the clamor of Goldfish fans making a racquet online, demanding dill and spice in their little bait-shaped treats.

Tik Tok Has Spoken
According to Campbell's, over 300 million pickled posts appeared on TikTok with 53 million Americans requesting extra zest and tang in their fishy treats. Goldfish Spicy Dill Pickle crackers came to be after Campbell's mined these pickle peckers to come up with this new flavor. "Fan passion for new Goldfish flavors is a constant source of inspiration for us," says Janda Lukin, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Campbell's Snacks. "Overwhelming demand on social media and even a petition for a pickle flavor fueled the creation of our new Spicy Dill Pickle cracker." Imagine that someone took the time to actually petition Campbell's to add pickle flavors to their stable of flavors. That's some dedication for you, folks. No stranger to experimenting with new flavor combos, these Goldfish joined other fan inspired limited edition offerings like Goldfish OLD BAY, Goldfish Hello Kitty, and Goldfish Frank's Red Hot flavor varieties.
