Penny Lancaster Recounts Sexual Assault

Penny Lancaster was in tears as she revealed that she was sexually assaulted at the young age.

Rod Stewart's wife recounted the incident to the UK talk show 'Loose Women.' She said she was 12 at that time when she encountered the traumatic experience. As she recalled, she was walking to school late in the morning after a choir practice, when a man attacked her. Lancaster recounted she was sexually assaulted "under a subway." Luckily, she's strong and tall enough to fight against the attacker, "who had pulled my skirt up and wrestled with me," she exclaimed.

The 44-year-old former model then reported the incident and found out that she was not the only victim of the said assailant. In search for the attacker, she also helped with the investigation, but unfortunately police failed to catch the aggressor.

Lancaster also insisted that aside from her attacker "there are a lot of evil men out there that will prey on young girls and it doesn't matter what they wear so they shouldn't be to blame as to whether they were being encouraged or not."

After her traumatic experience, Penny advised the viewers just to be safe, children should travel with friends as it would be "safety in numbers." She also insisted that young people should be educated about the possible danger of being out alone. "Girls and boys need to be educated of the dangers, they get educated about the internet, but it's still out there on the streets," she said.

Penny is currently enjoying her life with Rod Stewart. They met after the singer's marriage to Rachel Hunter fell apart. The couple started dating in 1999 and tied the knot in 2007, after Stewart and Hunter finalized their divorce. The pair was blessed with two sons, nine year old Alistair and Aiden, four.

Talking about his wife, Rod said to 'This Morning,' "I've been very fortunate with women, I must admit. I certainly wasn't born a handsome guy."
