Tracy Morgan said he has a new outlook in life after surviving the car crash in New Jersey that placed him in coma.
The 47 year old comedian, who is currently reliving his career after being in coma for two weeks following a horrific June accident last year has spoken with ET about his healing process and what helped him to fast track his recovery.
Morgan is currently doing a commercial for Footlocker, during the interview with ET, he recalled "I remember this time last year I was in a wheelchair wondering if I was gonna walk again," Morgan shared. "Now I'm doing a Foot Locker commercial," he said while smiling.
Megan Wollover, Tracy's wife, whom he wed in August never left his bedside during his recovery. While he was in critical condition, Megan always reminded him that he's "gonna be better than ever." Morgan further gushed, "She was my rock. [She] still is. She was right there telling me, 'Don't worry about it. All she kept saying was, 'I love you' and 'Don't worry about it."
Morgan also credited his 2 year old daughter for helping him to get through with it. He said that his daughter made him laugh a lot during his therapy. Adding, "She loved daddy and she made daddy laugh a lot."
The '30 Rock' star is currently filming the commercial for Foot Locker's "Week of Greatness" campaign and said that he was "glad" to able to bounce back and make his fans laugh again.
After surviving the horrific accident, Morgan said his whole perspective on things had changed after what he had been through. "The things that worried me and that were important before, aren't so important now," said Morgan. "When you spend weeks in comas, then you hear and see things differently. I see life differently. I embrace it more," he added.
