Droid Life has just published a leaked print ad of the coming Droid Turbo 2 smartphone. According to the leak, the new smartphone will have a shatterproof display and is said to be a Moto Maker.
Just recently, Motorola and Verizon announced that they will be launching a new series of Droid smartphones this coming October 27. As the release date is fast approaching, the Android news community has unveiled its leaked information concerning the upcoming phone.
According to rumors, one of the most fascinating feature of the Droid Turbo 2 is its shatterproof display. If the said speculation is true, Motorola did a very good job for innovating a new technology that will make the new Droid phone extremely durable.
Also, if the said feature will be the selling point for the new phone, a lot of challenges will be faced by the multinational telecommunication company.
The leaked ads also exposed that the new Droid smartphone will be accompanied by Motorola's customization tool called Moto Maker. The said tool will provide the users the opportunity to customize and personalize their device. This will then be the first time that Moto Maker will encompass the Verizon-exclusive Droid smartphone line.
In terms of phone specifications, NDTV reported that the new smartphone will have a 5.43-inch QHD display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC processor along with a 3GB of RAM and a 32GB or 64GB internal memory option. It will include a 21-megapixel rear camera and a 5-migapixel front camera. It will also feature a wireless charging ability with a 3760 mAh battery capacity.
The leaked print ads also unveil the new Droid Maxx 2 which features a long lasting battery life and a removable rear cover.
The Droid Turbo 2 is expected to have an initial price of $600 to $700 while the Droid Maxx 2 will be at around $400 to $500.
