Apple vs Samsung: iPhone 6S Plus Defeats Galaxy Note 5 In Speed Test [WATCH]

The iPhone 6S Plus has proven itself as one of the fastest smartphones available in the market today. The latest Apple smartphone has defeated the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in a new speed test video.

Last September, it can be remembered that Apple released its two new classy iPhones named the 6S and the 6S Plus. In a new video released by PhoneBuff, the iPhone 6S Plus and Samsung's Galaxy Note 5 were subjected to a series of speed tests.

The video below by PhoneBuff shows the performance of the two high-end smartphones as they battle for speed.

In the said video, it was very clear that 6S Plus beats the Galaxy Note 5 in terms of speed. Phone specification tells that the Galaxy Note 5 has an astounding 4GB of RAM while 6S Plus only has 2GB of memory. Nevertheless, iPhone 6S Plus showed that its own speed is capable of beating a memory-loaded rival.

The speed test was divided into two main parts. In the first part, the loading time of both smartphones as they open and close series of applications were measured. The second part measures the loading speed of the two high-end phones as they performed multi-tasking activities.

During the first round, iPhone 6S Plus has a total time of 49 seconds while the Galaxy Note 5 garnered a 51 second speed.

In the second round, it is notable that the 6S Plus displays its dominance in multitasking and app relaunching as the Galaxy Note is trailed by a couple of seconds. iPhone 6S Plus took the second round for 1:13 seconds in comparison to the 1:29 seconds performance of Galaxy Note 5.

Aside from the big difference of RAM, the two phones also possess different calibre of processors. The 6S Plus is built with its conventional dual core A9 chip, while the Galaxy Note 5 contains an octa-core processors.

In general, the two phones possess both speed and power. For ordinary smartphone users, a little more seconds may not be that important. However, for those people who value time more than others like businessmen, proper consideration must be applied.
