Alyssa Milano was in tears on CBS' 'The Talk' while talking about her former 'Who's the Boss?' co-star Danny Pintauro's HIV revelation.
Milano broke down in tears while talking about Pintauro's recent revelation to Oprah, the episode was called 'Where Are They Now,' in which he surprisingly admitted that he has been HIV positive for 12 years.
"I hate that it took him so long to feel comfortable, but I'm so glad that he is able to express himself now, and I guarantee you he will change so many lives," the 42 year old actress said. "He is a beacon of light, and he will be. I'm proud."
Danny Pintauro who grew up in the spotlight as Jonathan Bower on the '80s sitcom also revealed to E! that he received a call from Milano to extend her support for him through his battle.
"Alyssa called me this morning, and it was really early in the morning, so I didn't answer the call. But the message was so lovely and I can't wait to call her this afternoon and have a great chat with her and make sure she's OK," Pintauro told E!.
His co-star Tony Danza, on the other hand took the news differently.
"They are my other parents, Tony is my other father, and he'll always be my other father. And just like any father, he's gonna be disappointed when you give him bad news or when you tell him you haven't lived up to his expectation. That's OK. That's human nature. I can't ask him to not be disappointed, Pintauro said talking about Danny's initial reaction.
However, Pinatauro said Danny's next words were soul lifting. He said, "In the same breath, though, his next words were, 'Are you OK? What can I do? How can I help? It's give and take, and that's OK."
He also said that telling the people around him about his health condition is the hardest part.
