Just last week, news broke out that the American RnB singer Chris Brown will not be granted his Australian Visa. As per The Guardian's report, this was due to his previous domestic violent case way back in 2009 when he assaulted his girlfriend Rihanna.
As per the report, the woman's minister, Michaela Cash stated that Brown would not be granted access on their land.
"I can assure you that the minister for immigration and border protection will be looking at this very, very seriously, I am clearly not going to pre-empt a decision by the minister, however, I can assure you what my strong recommendation would be."
Cash then added:
"People need to understand if you are going to commit domestic violence and then you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you, 'You cannot come in because you are not of the character we expect in Australia,' and certainly, without pre-empting the decision of the minister, I can assure you it is something that the minister is looking at."
News regarding this issue has been emerging; as per Daily Mail, Brown's reps however defended their talent. His concert tour on December 'One Hell of a Nite' released their tickets on Monday.
Chris Brown's manager, Mike G denied the allegations stating that they were all untrue. He made it clear that Brown's visa is still being processed and the singer has entered Australian grounds twice after the 2009 domestic violence case.
In his Instagram post, his manager stated:
'The request is currently being considered by the office of the Immigration Minister, contrary to media reports Chris Brown's request to enter Australia on tour has not been denied. We respect their right to review this request and have faith that a decision will be made with the full consideration of his continued personal growth, ongoing philanthropic endeavours and desire to perform for his fans.'
