Gayle King Weight Loss: 'CBS This Morning' Anchor Loses 4 Pounds After Her First Week With Weight Watchers

Gayle King has lost 4 pounds in one week!

The 'CBS This Morning' anchor has dropped from roughly 184 pounds to 180 pounds. She announced it through Instagram on Monday, after her first week on Weight Watchers diet. She shared a picture of herself on scale.

"First week on @weightwatchers ! So far no cheating ... Long long way to go ...," she captioned, showing her before and after pic.

The 60 year old anchor has also posted photos of food that she's been eating to keep up with her diet, which include tomatoes, broccoli, bacon and scallops. She also revealed she's avoiding potatoes and cheese.

Just earlier this month, she revealed through social media that at her age she weighs 184 pounds. She then announced that she wanted to lose her unwanted pounds and even tried Beyonce's 22 day vegan diet.

"Fatter than I have ever been!" she wrote at the time. "Help has just arrived in the form of @Beyonce 22 day vegan diet...Very new for me so we shall see. Thinking its Beyoncé approved so off we go."

However, the diet didn't work, so she shifted to an alternative.

"Oh Noooo just weighed in. Thought I was 5 lbs less and felt bad about THAT," she shared on social media. "Was planning to start @WeightWatchers Monday after a last supper weekend. Now starting TODAY!!!!!!"

As King's diet program is all about healthy eating, Shakira on the other hand involves intense workout and dance movements.

"We do interval training, so it's a combination of cardio and strength intervals with yoga poses in between. The cardio is a dance-based cardio, that is very engaging. Shakira's a dancer, so it's fun to be able to get back into your groove and be able to use your spirit and your soul while you're working out. It also helps with getting comfortable with your body again," Anna Kaiser, Shakira's personal trainer told PEOPLE.
