Anne Hathaway: 'Tequila Is My Beverge Of Choice'

Anne Hathaway reveals her choice of poison.

People Magazine reports that the 32-year-old actress who stars alongside Robert De Niro in the new movie, The Intern, shares her tequila moments in real life.

"So many, but I can't tell you what they are because I don't remember any of them," the actress told PEOPLE laughing at The Intern New York premiere on Monday. "But tequila is my beverage of choice, and I drink it far more responsibly than I did when I was in my twenties."

Tequila seemed to cheer her up at the 2014 Academy Awards, too.

"I've gone through it a couple of times, so I decided to do something a little different," she previously told Live! With Kelly & Michael. "I got a perfect purse-sized flask, which I put tequila in, and I had a great time! It was really nice, and it's a great ice-breaker."

"Of course I shared it," she added. "Joseph Gordon-Levitt was sitting next to me and Gabourey Sidibe, whom I never met before, but she's so awesome."

They even had a funny sitting issue while she was a little tipsy.

"I was led to my seat with my husband and I stopped in the section I thought I was sitting in, which was next to my friend Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and they said 'No, no, no, you're sitting in the center, something happened with Penelope Cruz you're gonna sit on her seat,'" she recalled. "And there was a beautiful woman in pink with her hair up but she's fully facing away from me. I was like 'excuse me I'm so sorry I think you're on my seat. Penelope Cruz turns around and I'm just like, 'oh no, you're not!'"

The confusing situation got them stuck at the center row when the show was about to air live and was resolved with Hathaway just sitting on her husband Adam Shulman's lap.  "We got to watch one part of the Oscars that way," she laughed.
