Singer and actor Chris Brown is in conflict with Nia Guzman, the mother of his 11-month-old daughter Royalty, over the amount of child support he gives each month, amounting to US$2,500.
Nia, a Texas-based model, is asking to raise financial support to US$15,000. Instead of complying, the recording artist stopped paying the monthly allowance in March. Rumors are spreading that Chris thinks of Nia's demand to be ridiculous, pushing him to stop giving payments completely.
Nia's legal team is planning to file legal documents to ensure that the Grammy winner will not run from his responsibilities.
After the news of Chris' baby became public in March, his then-girlfriend Karrueche Tran ended their relationship, saying she does not want to be involved in any baby drama. The model even posted on her Instagram account, wishing the best luck for the new family.
Chris didn't deny the news and confirmed it instead by posting a picture of him with his daughter on social media. He expressed in the post how blessed he is for having Royalty in his life.
The multitalented star then started taking his daughter out in public. They were last seen in the Billboard Music Awards last May 17, where Chris took Royalty as his date.
After breaking up with Chris in March however, Karrueche decided to go back to his arms. It seems like she already learned to accept Royalty and has even met the little girl, even crying the first time she saw her, according to rumors.
She allegedly also wants a child of her own with the recording artist.
Nia stated that she doesn't mind if her daughter and Karrueche will become close as long she is aware of her limitations.
Chris Brown's net worth is reportedly at $30 million. With this amount, Breezy might be able to give into Nia's demands and still have money left to spare.
