Former football player Chris Coleman has tied the knot to journalist and Sky Sports presenter Charlotte Jackson in an intimate celebration in Hampshire. It was attended by their family and a few close friends.
Charlotte is proud that despite the limited amount of time she had to spend planning the wedding, it ended up beinig intimate and beautiful.
The two were supposed to be married last year but the wedding date was moved due to personal reasons. Charlotte admitted that she wasn't organized enough, causing for the delay of their wedding day.
Chris' two daughters from his previous marriage to Belinda Coleman were part of the bridal entourage as bridesmaids. The former couple were together for 19 years before divorcing in 2011. They have four children, Sonny, Christy, Faraday and Georgie, which are not having trouble getting along with their new stepmother.
The newlyweds first met in 2012 in Portugal, when Charlotte covered an event for Sky Sports. Chris' team in the golf tournament won, which led the journalist to interview him that day.
They are both inclined in sports, as Chris Coleman used to be a football player. After sustaining an injury from a car accident, he shifted to being a coach. He is not the manager of the Wales national football team.
Charlotte, on the other hand, played lacrosse and tennis for Hampshire. She is also a singer and has made several TV appearances.
The new Mrs. Coleman has expressed in an interview on how she wants to a big family and have more children.
"It's all geared towards having babies, we both want them and want to be nearer to mum and dad so they can help. Luckily Chris wants more, we're both excited." Charlotte said. They welcomed their first son Finlay in December 22.
They will be jetting off to Las Vegas and California for their honeymoon.
