More than a week after publicizing her departure from the American dance competition Dancing With the Stars because of health concerns, the American singer and television personality - Tamar Braxton, is in a suitable state to update fans on her condition.
On Thursday, in a surprise appearance in an episode of the American talk show The Real, Tamar Braxton, who had her first big break in music in 1992 as a founding member of the R&B group The Braxtons, calls into Dancing With the Stars to catch up with her co-stars. Along the way, Tamar Braxton proves she is on the road to recovery.
The 'If I Don't Have You' hitmaker said that, "I mean, I'm just so delighted. And I just feel so blessed to come out of the hospital." "For the reason that you know, the realization is that, you know, a lot of individuals don't come out of the hospital with, you know, multiple PEs (Pulmonary Embolism) like I had. And you know I just feel really favored beyond measure."
Tamar Braxton also said, "And I'm just so excited, that I was one of the few people who got a chance to come out of the hospital, come on!"
However, last Wednesday, Tamar Braxton displayed a photo from her hospital bed, as she posed with her Dancing With The Stars partner Val Chmerkovskiy (Ukrainian-American professional dancer). Tamar Braxton made it known to fans that she didn't have pneumonia, but instead, she had several PEs or blood clots in both sides of her lungs.
The 38-year-old Tamar Braxton took to social media and said that she wants everybody to know that she will be the first to always encourage anyone to push through any obstacle that comes along one's way. But in the case of Tamar Braxton, she said that her health is her current obstacle.
And on Tuesday afternoon, Tamar Braxton was ultimately released from the hospital with her husband Vincent Herbert (songwriter, record producer and founder of Streamline Records) by her side.
