This month, no discussion is more important than the Indio's Coachella and Chicago's Pizza Summit.
Chicago is known for its beloved stuffed dish but a pizza summit? It is surely not to be missed. The Chicago Pizza Summit on April will highlight pizzerias from 12 different eateries and playing for the soundtrack - Andrew W.K will be the headline of the event held in Wicker Park - expecting to make a great appearance with his pizza-shaped guitar.
Presenting the street festival, Old Style beer, and the Empty Bottle will bring a mix of pizza feast and party advocates in one field. Restaurants participating in the fest include: Boiler Room, Flo & Santos, Lou Malnati's, Home Run Inn and many more.
Chicago is a culinary epicenter but not deeply associated with pizza eats as the city's specialties involve around gourmet dining and Italian- style beef. With the Chicago Pizza Summit being held, the event would be a showcase for this beloved classic. The 21+ event's ticket is sold at $35 that includes unlimited pizza and beverage.
On April 4, New Yorkers will be able to enjoy the savory bites from 'Around the World in 80 Sweets: An Evening with the World's Best Pastry Chefs. The sugar lineups include Francois Payard' Macaron Donut; Sadaharu Aoki's Japanese infused French pastries, and many other delectable bites. The ticket is sold at $125 where every $1 will be given to City Harvest - food program that helps feeding 4 New Yorkers facing hunger.
Coachella music fest will be held on April 15-17 and 22-24 in Indio, California. The event itself is called Outstanding in the Field - an outdoor themed feast which gathers some of the best chefs (Antonia Lofaso, Chris Oh, Michael Voltaggio, and many others) and Southern California's food vendors. On the stage, some of the headliners include Calvin Harris, Guns N' Roses, Ellie Goulding, and Disclosure. The dinner fest costs $225 per person.
