Apple's iPhone 7 Will Be Waterproof, Find Out More Specs Below!

The next iPhone model of Apple will be waterproof according to rumors.

Recent reports reveal that the tech giant had filed a patent for the technology that will make iPhone 7 waterproof. With the use of rubber ports that automatically changes its shape, all entry points of water for the upcoming device will be sealed.

According to CNET, the said rubber port cover closes in itself every time the headphone jack is removed. With this, water can no longer penetrate the phone preventing it from being destroyed. This technology has been used by many companies to protect devices from gas, dust, water and other debris that might penetrate the phone.

Another feature of the forthcoming iPhone 7 is the change in its design. The next Apple phone will have a new design including the use of new backlit technology. Instead of the LED technology for the Retina displays, the company is speculated to switch to OLED displays.

Apple's iPhone 7 will still have the 3.5mm headphone jack. The camera of the device will be improved. Compared to the quality of the current model, the next generation will have a 10-megapixel camera including two-lens DSLR-style camera. The front camera will also be improved for better quality photos and selfies even in environments with low light.

In terms of specifications, iPhone 7 is expected to have a A10 chip which will then be better than the A9, 64-bit dual-core processor of the iPhone 6S. Customers are anticipating for the next device to have be equipped with a RAM of 4GB.

Just like the other phone products of Apple, the iPhone 7 will likely be released in fall base on the company's tradition. The device will come after iPhone 6C which is the rumored 4-inch Apple phone.

Apple's iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are still fresh in the market but many are already anticipating for the next generation of iPhone.
