Amy Schumer Poses Nude For 2016 Pirelli Calendar, Comedian Calls Herself Gross, Fat and Ugly

Amy Schumer shows off some skin as she poses nude for the latest edition of the Pirelli calendar. The comedienne is part of the group of women who will be featured on the Italian company's calendar.

For the 2016 issue of the tire maker's calendar which is actually their 43rd edition, the company chose 13 different women who are all successful in their chosen field of practice. The cover girls have 'outstanding professional, social, cultural, sporting and artistic accomplishment.'

Amy Schumer bravely displayed her naked body and even posted a photo on her social media account in which she wore nothing but underwear and heels. The 34-year-old TV personality added a caption which caught the attention of her followers.

"Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman. Thank you @annieleibovitz," wrote Schumer on Monday.

With the honest content of her caption, the actress was admired for being true to herself. In the photo, the American stand-up comedienne's rolls on her midsection is visible. The way she described herself in the photo delivered a positive message to the public not to be ashamed of their figure.

Amy Schumer worked with photographer Annie Leibovitz who has worked with many famous personalities like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Penelope Cruz.

According to the professional photographer, working with Schumer for the 43rd edition of the Pirelli Calendar is quite different since they had a unique goal which is to capture authenticity. In a press conference, Leibovitz revealed that she wanted to photograph the models for who they really are.

"The goal was to be very straightforward. I wanted the pictures to show the women exactly as they are, with no pretense," said Leibovitz.

Besides Amy Schumer, Kathleen Kennedy who is Lucasfilm producer will also be featured on the 2016 Pirelli Calendar along with former supermodel Natalia Vodianova, Iranian artist Shirin Neshat, Tavi Gevinson, Agnes Gund, Yoko Ono, Mellody Hobson and Fran Lebowitz.
