Daniel Radcliffe revealed he felt envious of newbie wizard Eddie Redmayne's costume.
The 26 year old actor, who rose to prominence as the main character in the Harry Potter movie series said he was jealous when he saw the costume of the new wizard, Eddie Redmayne.
"Oh f--- you, Eddie, in your brilliant costume - I got jeans and a zip top for 10 years and you've got a great coat already?" Radcliffe quipped to NME magazine.
The 33 year old, Oscar winning Redmayne portrays the eccentric wizard, Newt Scamander in the highly anticipated Harry Potter spinoff film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
As for Daniel, who left his wand behind and left the wizard town after wrapping the final Harry Potter film back in 2011 admitted to NME that his character in the epic movie led him to phenomenal success. Although he worked various movie projects, he said that he will never receive a recognition same as what he received in the wizard film as the bespectacled, magician hero.
"I'm sure I'll never hit that kind of commercial peak again but very, very few people will," he explained to the mag, which will hit newsstands on Friday.
During his interview, Radcliffe also set the record straight about his perplexing comments to Playboy magazine that fueled rumors that he's pleasuring himself in the set of the movie. To clear up the confusion, he elaborated to the mag, "It's frustrating when you tell a story and say, 'Yes, I wanked a lot when I was a teenager,' but clearly I didn't mean on set. Can you make this clear for me: I was not wanking during filming of Potter - I managed to restrain myself until I got home."
He further explained that he started doing it at the young age but insisted he never did such thing on set.
