For Mariah Carey, age is just a number!
The 45 year old Mariah Carey said she doesn't mind the process of aging and insisted she certainly doesn't acknowledge her age. "I think I have to remain eternally oblivious to age," the All I Want For Christmas Is You singer shared to PEOPLE. "Honestly, when you put a number on it yourself, it's just like, Why? Why do that?"
The beauty school alum admitted that she sometimes deals with "bad hair days" and then has to apply her "500 hours of beauty school." But when her hair is really unmanageable she just puts it in a bun.
As for special events, Mariah admitted that she needed some help from the experts to help her glam up and revealed that her "good hair and makeup team" is always there to help her prepare and makes her look beautiful.
When it comes to make up, Carey prefers minimal application, so it wouldn't be hard to remove at the end of the day. "If you're not wearing a lot of makeup, you don't have to take a lot of it off. So, my goal is to wear the least amount of makeup possible so I don't have to steam my face and take it all off," she explained to the publication.
Meanwhile, Mariah is being ridiculed for allegedly lip syncing All I want For Christmas Is You at the 89th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The legendary diva performed at the parade with other famous performers, including Shawn Mendes, Jennifer Nettles and Andy Grammer.
Mariah Carey sang her 1994 hit song while atop a float, although it wasn't surprising as she sings it every year. However, many critics accused her of delivering the song in synchronization with a recorded music. The unimpressed fans took to social media and mocked her for the alleged mouthing of the song words.
