Reportedly, the former nanny (Mindy Mann) of the American singer, fashion designer, actress and the co-founder and lead vocalist of the band No Doubt - Gwen Stefani, took advantage of the singer's kindness and generosity. After reports came up that Gavin Rossdale (English musician and actor - famous as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush) had cheated with Mindy Mann, and Gwen Stefani felt completely betrayed.
It has been a total disappointment for 46 year old Stefani, as she took nanny Mindy Mann under her wing and dealt with Mindy Mann in a certain way pretty much like a sister - and Gwen Stefani said that she got backstabbed. Stefani always made herself available to help out nanny Mindy Mann, which is why it hurt so bad for Stefani when she found out that the nanny allegedly slept with her 50 year old husband, Gavin Rossdale.
To add up to the singer's kindness to her nanny, the lead singer of the American rock band No Doubt was also Mindy Mann's role model and mentor. Gwen Stefani was incredibly giving, putting her time and energy into helping Mann and when Mindy needed advice with her clothing business, the singer always made herself available.
However, not only did Gwen Stefani provide funds for the nanny to start up her clothing business, Gwen Stefani gave Mindy Mann support, time and input. Gwen Stefani was even present when the nanny complained about her boyfriend problems.
A source stated that Gwen Stefani was totally blindsided and betrayed, not only by her husband Gavin Rossdale, but by this young nanny Mindy who took advantage of Gwen Stefani's kindness and generosity.
The singer found out about the affair between Mindy and Gavin from her other nanny and Gwen also saw disturbing texts between her then-hubby and nanny Mindy back in February, but when Gavin was confronted, he chalked it all up to "flirtation."
