Halle Berry's ex-husband David Justice reacts to the actress' latest reports accusing him of hitting her physically. The former hitter in Major League Baseball to his Twitter account to defend his side.
The former professional football player stated that he never hit the former fashion model when they were still together in the late 1990s. The latest reports of the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' actress contradicts her earlier claims that the athlete did not hit her, explains Justice.
"Reading the latest Halle Berry Reports, it wasn't me who hit Halle causing the ear damage. Halle has never said that I hit her," wrote Justice on Twitter.
It can be remembered that Halle Berry filed a restraining order against David Justice in 1996 before their official separation on 1997. But Justice claims that he was never abusive towards the 'Extant' star.
Eric Benet, who is also an ex of Halle Berry agreed with the tweet of David Justice.
"My man at @23davidjustice is tweeting some truth dis' mornin'!" says Benet who was married to the actress from 2001 to 2005.
The ex-husbands of 'The Call' star seem to standing together against her. Benet and Justice both appear to be implying that Berry created lies to ruin their image.
Earlier, the athlete tweeted his sentiments saying, "It just makes me mad to still see the same lie being perpetuated about the source of her abuse being me. Never happened! #formerboyfriend"
In another tweet, Justice accuses his ex-wife for destroying his character out of anger because he chose to leave the relationship. Justice wrote that "her Hollywood Team just tried to destroy my character. It had to be my fault, right?"
David Justice explains that he felt the need to speak out after learning about Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez's divorce.
"So many years ago, I didn't say anything about the accusations that I abused her, but now I have three children, ages, 15, 13 and 11, two boys and one girl, and they can read this stuff and they have friends who will read it as well so I had to finally come out and say once and for all I never hit Halle Berry," explains Justice.
The former athlete wants to make sure that his family and the people around him knows the truth.
