Lamar Odom is getting stronger" every day after being hospitalized on Oct. 13.
"Lamar is getting better every day," an insider revealed to Us Weekly. "He is more coherent and can talk more."
The insider even said that Lamar is "walking with help now despite the fact that the 35-year-old athlete has some was to go. "He is getting stronger every day," the source added. "And has a great team of therapists and specialists working with him. He's 6' 11" and weighs a lot, so getting him to walk a little has been really hard."
International Design Times informed on Tuesday that Lamar has been suffering from major kidney failure. As a matter of act, his doctors do not know the full extent of the damage to his body for a while. Khloe's brother Rob Kardashian was allegedly ready to do under the knife and give his kidney for his sister's former spouse.
Nevertheless, the first insider told Us that doctors are trying to reverse the damage done to his kidneys. "They are also trying to get his kidneys to function on their own," the source revealed.
Khloe faced some criticisms of her own after the release of her new magazine amid Lamar's health crisis. IDesignTimes previously reported that the 31-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star condemned the accusations that she's cashing in on her husband's hospitalization.
"I want to make this VERY clear.... My people cover, I shot and interviewed for PRIOR to all the events that happened. PART 1," Khloe wrote in her tweet. "It was contracted press for my book that I wrote months and months ago. Timing is what it is. PART 2."
To recall, Khloe even escorted Lamar in the helicopter when he was transported to L.A. last week. She frisked sister Kim Kardashian's surprise birthday celebration, which Kanye West hosted and her friends and other family members graced with their presence on Wednesday, Oct. 21, evening.
