Samuel L. Jackson Tweets a Topless Pic In Support Of Breast Cancer Awareness

Samuel L. Jackson is using his fame to help promote male breast cancer awareness.

The 66 year old actor, who has teamed up with One For the Boys, an organization that seeks to educate people about male cancer has taken a shirtless snap to help promote the team's new initiative #InTheNipOfTime.

"Checkin' myself before I wreck myself!!" Samuel wrote on Twitter. "Taken #InTheNipOfTime all in aid of @One4theBoys Get Ur (your) nips out (sic)! Your turn!"

In an effort to bring awareness about the disease, Jackson narrates about it through a video clip, "Men can't just get man boobs. Nope, they can get breast cancer, too. So when you're thinking about copping a feel, cop a feel of yourself. Don't be the strong, silent type. If unsure, say something."

The campaign run by One For the Boys hopes to encourage men to take this matter seriously and check themselves for early detection. The organization as well as Jackson are asking men to post a pic of themselves shirtless and tag their images using the hashtag #InTheNipOfTime.

Many public figures, including Jim Hamilton, Mark Ruffalo and Matthew Perry supported the campaign by sharing their topless selfies to social media.

Have a look at this, & as Sam says... DON'T be the strong silent type. #InTheNipOfTime OFTB InTheNipOfTime Campaign, Matthew Perry tweeted.

Raising awareness for breast cancer in men @onefortheboys #InTheNipOfTime #tweetyournipple #nippleselfie, Jim Hamilton wrote.

The organization then expressed their gratitude to the supporters for their over flowing support.

"Great to see October go pink - now help us bring a touch of blue to the last week. #Men, we need you, because you get breast cancer too," One For the Boys posted on their official Twitter page. "Huge thanks to @SamuelLJackson for supporting #InTheNipofTime with his selfie. Not an easy thing to do, but neither is talking about cancer," the group added.
