HTC One A9 Looks Like an iPhone Running on Android System

Images of a new HTC phone have been spreading online and it looks exactly like an iPhone. As reported by The Verge , HTC's One A9 is a $399 iPhone running on android system.

Earlier this year, HTC introduced its One M9 model but it was a disappointment to both fans of high-end smart phones and to HTC itself. Feeling the urgency to develop a better model, the Taiwanese company introduced its second hero handset of the year. The latest model, One A9, is the among the first to have the Android Marshmallow software. The 5-inch smart phone will be available unlocked for as low as $399.99 and it looks almost the same as the iPhone.

For two years, HTC has cultivated the aluminium unibody look however it has abandoned its efforts in favour of blatantly cloning the latest iPhone model. The new HTC phone features a home button with an integrated fingerprint reader. It has discarded its prominent BoomSound stereo speakers on the front. The One M9 also features a flat back that's punctuated by a pair antenna lines, a circular two-tone flash and slightly protruding camera. Sound so much like an iPhone however that similarities end there. As soon as you take a hold of the One M9, its feels like a middle child between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The latest model of HTC not only improved its physical features but also greatly improved performance wise. The One A9 has a 2,150mAh battery, a Snapdragon 617 processor and a 1080 display. Performance is said to be delightfully fluid and quick.

HTC has described One A9's performance as "Android 6.0 with Sense". It has focused not only on the cosmetic changes but more importantly, it has focused in delivering all the features of the Marshmallow system.

Notably, HTC also gave emphasis on high-quality sound. The One A9 supports high-resolution audio and Dolby Surround Sound for headphones. The phone is designed to ensure minimal electric distortion.

The sim-unlocked handset is said to be priced at $399.99 with a 3GB RAM ad 32GB storage. This also comes with a six month free of unlimited Google Play Music and HTC's Uh Oh Protection. Watch out for it early next month on HTC's online shops and carrier stores.
