Harry Potter's Josh Herdman And His Father Knocked Unconscious In Bike Accident

Josh Herdman, best known for his role as Gregory Goyle in the 'Harry Potter' movie series, and his father are both recovering after they both ended up in a motorcycle crash.

Herdman, 27 year old, and his 59 year old father, Martin are both recovering after being thrown from their bike when it skidded on oil in the Hounslow borough of London.

Talking to the media, his father Martin recounted what happened on September 15. He said that he and his son were both knocked unconscious after the motor slid into the oil. What's even worse, they waited 90 minutes before a group of medics arrived at the scene.

"The wheel slipped on the road and just went - I tried to straighten it up but the back was sideways," Martin told the Richmond & Twickenham Times. "We were both unconscious for several seconds before coming round."

The police reportedly arrived at the scene shortly after the accident but didn't transport the victims right away due to the extent of their injuries. The ambulance that was first sent out reportedly had to reroute to another emergency, so another set of medics had to be sent out to transport them to West Middlesex University Hospital for treatment.

According to a London Ambulance Service spokesperson, they received a call at 2:34 pm, reporting an accidental crash and the ambulance was sent right away. However, it had to change its route due to a higher priority call.

"One ambulance going past even stopped to ask what had happened but they either had someone in the back or were on their way to another call," Martin recalled.

Finally another ambulance arrived at the scene at around 3:59 p.m. He said that he was quite amazed with the delay, "It was quite a nasty accident, I thought I had broken my shoulder and my son thought he broke his leg and his hand."

He said that the police officers and doctors at West Mid did apologize to them for the delay.
