Starbucks Releases Toasted Graham Latte, First New Fall Flavor in Four Years

The biggest coffee franchise in the world has done something new. Starbucks dropped a new beverage on Wednesday: the Toasted Graham Latte freshly served in a new fall cup, and it is the first fall flavor in four years.

While the Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) is a fall staple, the Toasted Graham Latte (TGL) is a welcome addition to Starbucks' seasonal team.

If you're a fan of dipping graham crackers into milk as a kid or as an adult too, then this is the perfect drink for you.

The new drink contains Sweet cream and graham mix with steamed milk and expresso, topped with cinnamon graham crumble. According to the company the sweet coffee drink contains 12-ounce Toasted Graham Latte with 2% milk has 230 calories, 7 grams of fat and 31 grams of sugar.

A press release for the drink also notes that it’s designed to taste like cereal milk.

"I thought about the back-to-school season and looked at the latest food and beverage trends," Mr.Yong Wong, the R&D Manager of Starbucks expressed and said. "What I found to be quite popular in the U.S. is the taste of cereal milk, the delicious leftovers in your breakfast bowl."

The official statement describes it as “an espresso beverage with steamed milk, flavors of graham and sweet cream and finished with a sprinkling of cinnamon graham crumbles.”

The new product tastes more like a milkshake than a coffee drink. Some users said it feels more like a dessert than a coffee, as the Toasted Graham Latte has got a thick texture that could suit for a coffee fanatic meal for breakfast.

Starbucks is fond of making new designs to their cups, and this new latte is no exception, it comes in new fall paper cup and even designed with leaves that will be monogrammed with the users names in orange sharpie.
