Many hearts are broken as news came out that Usher, the famous R&B singer, is now married to longtime girlfriend and manage, Grace Miguel. According to Us Weekly they had plans to marry in front of their closest family and friends but decided to elope. The couple after their secret ceremony then flew out to the beautiful country of Cuba for their honeymoon.
Usher has been in a hiatus since his last album, but now, the man is back with news one did not expect. Usher and Miguel have been together since 2009, that's almost 6 years. "She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career. She's someone who's been able to support and understand all of who I am. Not just as a dancer or as a performer or as a singer, but as a humanitarian and a business man and as a person," Usher said.
Miguel hails from Brooklyn, she isn't new to showbiz, having worked as the executive chef for the popular sitcom, The Cosby Show. She has also an interesting connection with another artist, her son, Raiden, is dating singer Lauryn Hill's daughter. Both Usher and her worked for different labels when they started dating, she worked for Island Def Jam, while Usher was under contract with Jive Records. She was also involved in an altercation with Usher's ex-wife, wherein she was reportedly dragged out of Usher's car by his ex-wife.
Usher is now a change man, when he met his wife, he was always thinking about his career and his job but according to the crooner, he is a different man now. Ever since he met his wife, everything has changed. He exclaimed how life is now a vacation with her, and that he enjoys it more than ever with his wife by his side.
