There are several rumors about 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' but most of them seem to be pointing to the identity of Max von Sydow's character.
There have been speculations that the veteran actor will be playing an older version of Boba Fett, who has miraculously survived the Pit of Carkoon, while another theory says he will portray one of the leads from 'Star Wars Rebels.'
Nevertheless, all these theories share one thing in common: Max von Sydow's character knows how to find Luke Skywalker.
Making Star Wars may have one of the most plausible theories to date. According to the site, Max von Sydow will portray an Elder from Jakku named Lor San Tekka.

"The rumor going around is that Max von Sydow plays a character named Lor San Tekka, a man in possession of information vital to the quest of finding the elusive Luke Skywalker," the site wrote. "As an elder of a village on Jakku, Lor San Tekka is sought out by the heroic pilot Poe Dameron to find the missing Jedi's whereabouts."
Yahoo! takes the theory further by analyzing the name 'Lor San Tekka,' pointing out that the last name means "red hot iron" in Japanese.
Does this mean Lor San Tekka might be the actual person who has found Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber?
The rumor also leads to questions as to why the lost lightsaber is now in the possession of Rey, portrayed by Daisy Ridley in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' Did Lor San Tekka give Rey the lightsaber?
The rumor not only reveals the identity of Max von Sydow's character in 'The Force Awakens,' but it also connects Oscar Isaac's character to the search for Luke Skywalker. Will the Resistance pilot be able to find the Last Jedi before the First Order gets to him?
The truth will finally be revealed when 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' hit theaters on December 18.
