Batman v Superman: Jesse Eisenberg Says Lex Luthor is His Best Role Ever

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice of director Zack Snyder has got six months to go before it fires up the big screen. The motion picture where Ben Affleck's Batman will fight it out with Henry Cavill's Superman.

Jesse Eisenberg and Jeremy Irons are two new cast members to the world of Batman and Superman. A Eisenberg (rose to the comedy-drama television series Get Real) will portray the arch-nemesis role of Lex luthor.

This is what the actor has to say about his character, "The opportunity to do an extremely interesting character on a film of that scale is incredibly exceptional."

The Academy Award-nominated actor Eisenberg was enticed to do the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As it turns out, it is not because of a childhood recognition and enjoyment of his character - Lex Luthor that he was eager to do the role but saw it as an opportunity to portray what he describes as "the best" role he's had the opportunity to work on.

The New York born Eisenberg stated, "In many ways, Lex Luthor is greater of a stretch than any character you would do in an independent film, which is usually the place you stretch," the actor added, "So in that way it was not at all compromised. If anything it was the most excellent, most advantageous character I've ever been given."

Jesse Eisenberg continued by expressing his total admiration for the work of the American film director and screenwriter Chris Terrio ( who highlighted his career in 2012 - Argo). He said that a mojor factor in making his Lex Luthor character successful was the fact that the screenwriter is Chris Terrio.

He went on to say that since the background of Chris Terrio is not in comic books, he was coming at it from his emotion and the story created this really marvelous character, who is not only enigmatic but emotionally honest as well.

He further added that Chris Terrio intelligently ties these really exciting superhero elements developed to a high degree of complexity with philosophical themes in a much smarter and different style.
