Apple Releases Adblock Browser For iOS and Android

Apple has unveiled an AdBlock browser for their newest mobile operating system iOS 9 on during the tech giant's launching event that is going on today in San Francisco.

Initially, the Ad blocking was supposed to be just an extension to Apple devices but it has been transformed into a stand-alone AdBlock browser for iOS 9.

The multi-tech company's developers stated that the latest version of their iOS is dedicated to performance and security. In a statement, Apple said that the new Adblock browser will only block those that are considered as "annoying ads". The non-interfering commercials on the other hand, will be at ease. Still the users have the ability to block ads.

The AdBlock browser for iOS 9 also provides some features that can also be found in Android devices that use Ad blocking. Compared to the mobile web browser Safari, the new browser provides the user more improved scrolling which can then offer easier bookmarking and enhanced keyboard. For mobile devices, it is said to have the capacity to extend battery life of the device as well.

According to Pagefair, one out of 20 web surfers already installed Ad Blocking support in their desktop PCs. For Safari users, it is noticeable that the percentage of having an Ad Blocking support for Apple devices is quiet lower, making the service a necessity in iPhones and other Apple gadgets.

The Ad-block browser can be a good help for those who don't want to be disturbed with bothersome endorsements. However, for advertising companies, it can be a sign of their extinction.

Google for instance, is greatly troubled about this new trend in technology. The American company is known for gaining their major revenues from online commercials and advertisements. Even though the company can generate solutions in a short time, the Ad Blocking support is still a curse for them.

The new browser which is also available for Android running devices can now be downloaded from the Apple App Store and from the Google Play Store.
