David Beckham Considers Playing James Bond In Next 007

Daniel's Craig's contract as the 007 agent will soon come to an end, and reports has it that no other than the football legend, David Beckham is being considered for the iconic role.

The 40 year old football legend has made no secret that he actually plans to give acting a shot, so surely, this news will not come as a surprise to Beckham's army of loyal supporters. His fans have been giving him their all out support.

Last year, the father of four, appeared in a Christmas special, Only Fools and Horses Recently, he landed himself a speaking role in a film directed by Guy Ritchie.

He plays the role of a grotesque knight with blackened teeth in Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur. He has a total of 13 lines.
The film will be out next year.

"I'm good friends with Guy and trust him. He wouldn't put me in a film if he thought I was going to ruin it.

"I had 13 lines and I practised a huge amount beforehand. Guy had someone come and rehearse with me and I did an hour of it every day."

David Beckham admits he actually got scared delivering his lines during the filming which took 8 weeks.

He said: "It was nerve-racking delivering the lines but I enjoyed it massively."He added: "Sport gets my heart beating faster. Acting is the same."

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid ace also appears in a 15-minute short film called Outlaws for the British leather brand Belstaff, with Harvey Keitel.

David revealed he is determined to make it as an actor, but is aware of the possible pitfalls ahead."I am very aware that many sportsmen and other celebrities have turned their hand to acting and failed.

Beckham's 13 year son, Romeo, is all excited to see his dad in an action movie.
