Drew Barrymore Wants To Change Her Past

Drew Barrymore, who took drugs when she was 10 years old and has checked into rehab numerous times, admitted she has some regrets about her past, according to TV3.ie.

But even though she bewailed her previous conduct, she still appreciates every moment of her life because it lead her to what she is today.

When she was asked what she would change about her past, she said, ''Probably everything but if you're happy with your life today, you have to be appreciative of every single moment that led you to get here.''

The 39 year old actress, who got married three times and is thankful that she had an"experimental phase" back then, rather than in this generation as the world is ''much worse'' now.

She told Red Magazine, "Most people go through an experimental phase in their lives, but it isn't public. I had to learn a lot on my own. But I was never a bad person, I never f***ed anyone over. I feel very lucky that it happened then. This is a much worse world to go through anything now. I'm like a quiet, boring church mouse now."

The 'Miss You Already' actress, who has daughters Olive, three year old and Frankie 16 months previously revealed to In Touch Weekly that motherhood fully changed the way she thinks about her looks.

She told the media outlet, "I was pretty damn confident in my 20s. I wore slips on the red carpet," she said. Now I'm in muumuus! I was brave because I wasn't really thinking about anything, just being. Now I'm much more conservative, especially being a mom."

Drew also said that she is proud of her true identity.

"I love the very exposed, humorous, imperfect, never-trying-to-pretend to-be-perfect journey that I have been on in my life."
