Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, Tyga must pay the landlord of his Calabasas home $70,000 for the overdue rent and he should vacate the property as per court order on Monday.
But Tyga's lawyer argues, insisting that as agreed upon, his client put down $200,000 towards the purchase of an $8million worth Calabasas home. And said that the rapper is suing the landlord for breach of contract.
In a statement obtained by PEOPLE magazine, Tyga and the landlord both agreed in September 2014 that the $200,000 he received from the rapper will serve as down payment for the purchase of the home that Tyga's been renting.
However, in a separate lawsuit, the landlord claims that the 'Rack City' hit maker owes $70,000 for the unpaid rent.
The property is said to be near Kylie Jenner's $2.7 million mansion.
Paying on time seems not to be his thing. Earlier this year, Tyga already received a court warning. He was ordered to pay his former landlord $80,000 in back rent. During the hearing the rapper was warned by the judge to pay the amount by the end of June or he will pay a total of $124,000 for the added interest, according to TMZ.
But financial issues hasn't stop Tyga from giving her girlfriend a $320,000 Ferrari for her 18th birthday.
While Tyga is getting in trouble over unpaid rent and still lives a lavish lifestyle, Kylie's brother in law, Kanye West believes that he needs to stop pretending because he is not as rich as Oprah.
"Kanye thinks Tyga is talented beyond belief and a gentleman, whom he considers family because he's with Kylie [Jenner]. Kanye, however, doesn't like Tyga's over-the-top lavish lifestyle," a source revealed to HollywoodLife. "Kanye told Tyga he needs to 'tone that s*** down' and 'you're not Oprah, so stop fronting and pretending like you have her wallet.'"
