Ryan Murphy, director of this award-winning horror anthology, prefers the term " ancient blood virus" on his characters rather than
vampires. He insists that, "It's really a form of hemophilia in a way. There's no capes and fangs."

The director further relates that the craving for human blood is borne out of a virus infecting the characters in his series. Since there will be no fangs, Lady Gaga will wear a highly fashionable chain mail glove to slice the arteries of her victims.

This is Lady Gaga's first time, to return to the small screen after her performance of the "Sound of Music Medley", at the Academy Awards.

Just in case you are curious as to how she landed the role, she voluntarily asked Ryan Murphy for it. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly she revealed, " I called him and said 'Ryan , I wanna be on Horror Story.' And he goes,'Okay.' And that was it."

This will premiere on October 7 and run until January 20.
