Canadian actress Nina Dobrev refuses to work with Ian Somerhalder after the rumors sparked that she has been offered a comeback in the hit series 'The Vampire Diaries', where she used to work as Somerhalder's love team on screen.
Though it's completely obvious that the former couple, Dobrev and Somerhalder, have already moved on and now enjoying their respective relationships, the fans seemingly could get over the 'Delena' tandem as the two are still frequently linked from time to time.
Adding to Dobrev's issue of allegedly refusing the said offer, another rumor claims that Somerhalder's wife, Nikki Reed, is too jealous of Nina and has been stopping her husband from possibly seeing the actress, even if it is only work-related.
While none of these rumors have been confirmed, some of their fans still consider Nikki's jealousy as one of the reasons as to why Dobrev decided to leave TVD.
The speculations about Nikki Reed's too much jealousy towards Dobrev have become more fuelled after this year's Teen Choice Awards held in mid-August, where Nina was the only one who accepted the 'Best Kiss' award that she and Somerhalder won.
Reports say that the 'Twilight' star is worried that the two 'would create the smooch' if they would both accept the Best Kiss award on stage, which made the fans think that she might probably be one of the reasons why Dobrev didn't want to reprise her role in the series.
While most of her fans and TVD loyalists believe that returning to TVD would be best for Nina, the actress is said to be very sure about her decision.
Dobrev and Somerhalder, who started as best friends in TVD, were together for three years. However, the two broke up in October last year and was immediately followed by loads of controversies after Somerhalder began dating the now-wife and former friend of Nina, Nikki Reed.
