Lenovo Reveals New ThinkPad Laptops

Lenovo announces two new high-end laptops named ThinkPad P70 and ThinkPad P50 which feature 64Gb RAM and Intel's fastest processors, Xeon. Inside the new devices are the memory capacity that far exceeds any other RAM capacity in the history, which means that these brand new on-the-lap technology has just broken a record.

The Intel Xeon E3-150M v5 processor is based on Intel's sixth generation architecture, Skylake, which is kind of a promising chip that can clock at high speeds for great computing.

The machine can store up to 1TB of data in a thin solid state drive, popularly known as SSD. This enables users to store and retrieve information to and fro the laptop faster than the blink of an eye.

A pair of USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports were also incorporated by Lenovo. Another thing, the P50 has a 15.6-inch screen while the higher model, P70, has 17-inch. Both come with HD displays.

The cooling ability of a machine's cooler is the only limit a processor can be clocked, so Lenovo coupled the CPU and NVidia Quadro GPU with its FLEX cooling system, which is made for peak-performing workstations. Two fans keep the processing units from overheating while being linked together by a heat pipe. The system can focus on cooling either the CPU or GPU depending on the performance or the graphics output.

Instead of swiping, these ThinkPad models enable users to log in via an accurate fingerprint reader that can detect user's finger marks at one press.

With the sum of their parts, these machines can be as heavy as 5.6 pounds and 7.6 pounds which can still survive a ground impact after a gravitational pull. Otherwise stated, drop tests were conducted to prove durability in military prerequisites and beyond.

These new edges of ThinkPads are quoted as "Lenovo's thinnest and lightest full-function mobile workstation yet." ThinkPad P50's 15.6-inch UHD 4k display only makes the difference with P70 while both having excellent features.

In this year, these two sophisticated laptops are expected to take the battle in the market with starting price of $1,599 and $1,999 for the respective units.
